On Thursday 27 January, Petra De Sutter, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration, Public Enterprises, Telecommunication and the Postal Services, visited our head office in Berchem.
Due to circumstances, this visit was postponed several times, but this time we were lucky and the visit could take place, despite such burning political topics as energy prices.
After a short, guided tour of our office, the minister and several cabinet members were received in the ‘Ilse Noens’ meeting room where Roeland Briers gave a presentation about our model and services, followed by information from Tim Schampheleer about our recruitment and selection process as well as the crucial role job coaching plays in our model.
After this formal part, the minister had a chat with Robin and Kevin, two of our Passwerk consultants. They talked about their roles as test engineers and the added value the Passwerk model means to them. The genuine interest, engagement and involvement the minister showed throughout the entire visit was truly striking.
At the end of the visit, the VRT NWS interviewed the minister, both of our consultants and our CEO, Nico. The interview with the minister was highlighted on both the afternoon and evening news on Eén.
